ABOUT US
ABOUT VULCANAIR
Vulcanair was established in 1996 by the De Feo family, namely Carlo & Remo (father and son), using private capital, with the aim of becoming a respected general aviation manufacturer worldwide.
Between 1996 and 1998 Vulcanair purchased all the assets, type designs, trademarks and rights of Partenavia and the SF600 Series Program, including type certificates, tooling and rights from Siai Marchetti.
Established in 1957, Partenavia is one of the structural pillars of Italian excellence in general aviation, and its aircraft are operated around the globe.
Vulcanair Aircraft has harnessed the Partenavia and Siai Marchetti (SF600 Program) heritage, with the addition of modern tools, organization, and engineering. This enables a constant stream of quality aircraft, design upgrades, and improvements.
The results of this effort materialize in Vulcanair’s state-of-the-art, rugged, reliable and versatile aircraft, globally appreciated for their flight characteristics and very long lives.
Vulcanair Factory – Naples, Italy
The factory, conveniently located at the international airport, has been manufacturing beautiful, handcrafted aircraft, since the late 1950s.
Vulcanair Factory – North Carolina, USA
In February 2024, Vulcanair announced that it is building a facility in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, to house its US headquarters, manufacturing, maintenance operations, and parts distribution at the airport. This is in partnership with Ameravia Inc. of Miami, the importer for the Italian-made Vulcanair. The facility will produce the company’s the four-seat piston single, the Vulcanair V1.0, which was introduced to the U.S. market in 2014.
The 36,000 square feet facility may be expanded to 80,000 square feet as the company ramps up production. It has direct access to a newly paved 5,000-foot runway.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, as a long-term player in the Australasian aviation market, Airitalia prides itself on delivering premium support and advice both pre and post aircraft purchase.
